Johnson is a very interesting WR in PPR Fantasy Leagues, given that he finished bottom three in yards per target last season (6.64yds). Johnson made up for that by finishing no lower than 12th in snaps, receiving yards, receptions, touchdowns, and fantasy points. Johnson's value shows in PPR Fantasy Leagues due to his volume of work as he finished fourth in targets over the last two seasons. Even if Johnson is receiving it short or roughly 7 yards per reception, he is still earning a point every reception in addition to the yardage gained.

Johnson's role could be much different this year as the Steelers will be having a new quarterback due to the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger. Which makes Johnson's fantasy value a little less certain. Don't be surprised if Johnson's usage rate slides, but a new quarterback could unlock his deep threat ability.
