38 Days until NFL Kickoff, Players 40,39, & 38 in PPR Fantasy Football Leagues are...
Note Player 41 is Commanders RB Antonio Gibson. Unfortunately, the article file has been corrupted.

Player number 40 is Seattle Seahawks WR DK Metcalf. Metcalf is one of the most physically dominating receivers of all time, and his production has been impressive. Metcalf just inked a three-year $73 million extension with the Seahawks. Metcalf has finished as a top 15 receiver in the previous two seasons. Metcalf in 2020 finished 10th in PPG and 23rd in 2021(due to Russell Wilson's thumb injury). Metcalf has finished the previous three seasons top five in endzone targets, which increases Metcalf's value massively. What is uncertain is DK's true projected value as the QB position is shaky with either Drew Lock or Geno Smith. Both could be solid low-end starters but neither of them are Russell Wilson. Although the biggest green flag with Metcalf is he is the clear number one option in Seattle, and they are without veteran running back Chris Carson. Look for Metcalf to be the first option on almost every down. Metcalf is a riskier WR2, due to his QB situation not his talent.
Player number 39 is Atlanta Falcons Tight End, Kyle Pitts. Pitts is entering his second season in the NFL. Pitts' floor last season was sixth as a fantasy TE, which is extremely impressive for the rookie tight end. Pitts should continue to soar and could be argued as the true TE1 in PPR Fantasy. The biggest downfall to his fantasy production was only having one touchdown on the year, which Pitts is looking to change this season. Pitts is the biggest threat for the Falcons offense, especially with WR Calvin Ridley being suspended indefinitely. Expect Pitts to be targeted at all times, which should hopefully result in more touchdowns this season. Pitts is an absolute lock for TE1 and will finish no lower than top five at the position this season.
Player number 38 is San Francisco 49ers Tight End, George Kittle. He is entering his sixth season in the NFL while looking to finish top-five in PPR Fantasy Leagues for the fourth time in his career. Kittle consistently finishes fourth in PPG, over the last four seasons. The biggest concern is overall health and durability. If Kittle is on the field he will always give TE1 production. One concern is the new starter in San Francisco QB Trey Lance. Lance is unkown and unseen, he only got one game in his final collegiate season with minimal work last season in the NFL. With this being Lance's firtst starting campaign, Kittle very well could become a favorite target for Lance. Which will increase Kittle's fantasy value. As well with a young QB the run game of the 49ers will be essential, leading major home run play action targets for George Kittle. Most likely finishing as a top five Tight End, with the floor of mid-level production if Lance struggles to perform.
